Say, “Hello!”

I am really trying to always treat people as if they are already my friend.  It is amazing how many people you can light up.

So many people are just lonely.  Make someone’s day and have a conversation with a total stranger.  You will both be better for it.  They just may be what you’ve been needing too!

  1. You’re singing my song… Even after I’ve given people the benefit of the doubt and gotten hurt as much as I have, I STILL continue to do so. I know at the end of the day that I’M a good person. These other people who hurt and take, and take and take… I can only be thankful that I’m not them. And I’ll continue to be me, hoping to add a little optimism to a strangers day. It feels so good to do something so simple. It doesn’t cost a thing, and it doesn’t hurt. I wish more people could be like this. Nice post!!

  2. People are so wary these days that the simple act of saying hello and in person shaking someone’s hand is regarded as crossing personal boundaries!! I talk to everybody and anybody I can – have found some wonderful characters to include when writing. Hello and good to meet you…
